Knoxville, Tenn. -- Will Renaker's sacrifice fly in the 10th inning lifted the Morehead State Eagles to a 2-1 victory over the Tennessee Volunteers at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
The win was the first for the Eagles (3-2) in 14 tries against Tennessee (5-10).
Kevin Matuszek and Jon Childers had two hits apiece for the Eagles, while Adam Smith connected twice, including a double, to lead the Vols.
Casey Campbell (1-0) picked up the win by pitching two perfect innings in relief of starter Eddy Bushelman. Bushelmen had a strong performance, allowing one run on four hits with five strikeouts in eight innings.

After Morehead State broke on top in the fourth when Jon Childers singled home Cary Page for a 1-0 lead, the Vols answered with a run in bottom half of the frame. Brandon Hopkins scored on a ground out after getting hit by a pitch and advancing to third on Adam Smith's double.
Tennessee and Morehead State will complete their two-game set, Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET.
