UT Baseball Alumni Game Set for Friday

Knoxville, Tenn. - Tennessee baseball alumni return to Lindsey Nelson Stadium this weekend for the Alumni game set for Friday, October 31 at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free and it is a chance to see some of your old favorites back out on the baseball diamond.
The on-field events conclude a full day of activites which begin with the Food City All-Star Golf Tournament at Willow Creek Golf Club.
Among the returning alumni appearing include former Tennessee All-America and current member of the Colorado Rockies, Todd Helton (1993-95). Other returning former Volunteers currenty playing professional baseball include Mike Lincoln (1996-98), Jeff Pickler (1996-98), Hal Bibee Jr. (1999-02) and Rich Rodriguez (1981-84).
Players that have played professional baseball in the major leaugues, minors or independent circuit include: Ed Bailey (1948), Rick Honeycutt (1973-76), Mike Smithson (1974-76), Rich DeLucia (1983-83), Steve Searcy (1983-85), Greg McMichael (1986-88), Clay Greene (1996-97), Baker Moore (1996-97), Justin Parker (1998-01), Travis Brummitt (1997), Brad Love (1999-00), Curt Cornwell (1980-83) and Danny Ramirez (1989-90).
Also on hand will be former coaches Bill Wright (1963-81) and Mark Connor (1988-89).
