Nebraska Leads Vols 30-17 at Halftime

LINCOLN, Neb. - Homestanding Nebraska leads Tennessee 30-17 at halftime of today's game at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
The Vols connected on just 11 percent of their field goal attempts in the first half and went over 15 minutes without a field goal. Stanley Asumnu's three-pointer with 15:15 remaining was UT's last field goal before Brandon Crump scored on a dunk with 9.9 seconds remaining before the half.
Scooter McFadgon hit a three-pointer on the Vols' first possession of the game, but Tennessee hit just 2-of-26 of their next field goal attempts before the break.
The Cornhuskers did not shoot the ball much better, hitting just 11-of-30 (.367).
Crump leads the Vols with 7 points, while John Turek had 11 to pace the Huskers.
Tennessee hit 9-of-12 from the free throw line.
