With the current facilities upgrade program is the athletic department considering any exterior aesthetic modifications to Neyland Stadium? For instance, arched red brick portals and black iron gates that better compliment the overall campus architecture, period or architectural light fixtures on/around the stadium, statues around the stadium honoring distinguished Volunteers such as General Neyland, plaques on the stadium walls noting national and SEC championship teams, additional trees and schrubs (landcaping) around the stadium, public benches and attractive waste recepticles, possible a fountain (not many on campus) or some other "high profile" spot for gathering such as pep rallys, pre-game TV broadcasts, etc.

Mike Hamilton: Hi Raleigh,
Thanks for your e-mail. We are definitely looking at ways to improve the outside aesthetics for Neyland Stadium. We hope to have a final master plan within the next two months that will address all of these concerns. As soon as it is complete, we will present it to fans so they can see what's in store for Neyland.
Thanks for your support of Tennessee athletics.

I just want to compliment you on your graciousness and class when dealing with Johnny Majors. He has chosen to be the kind of person I am sure you would rather avoid, but instead, you continue to show him respect when most people would have written him off, and deservedly so. So, thanks for displaying the high level of class that I wish we could see in all UT people. Thanks for your time.
