Crump And McFadgon Earn NABC All-District 7 Honors

Tennessee seniors Brandon Crump and Scooter McFadgon were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 7 Team on Friday, Feb. 18. Both Crump, a 6-foot-10 forward, and McFadgon, a 6-foot-5 guard, were second team selections. It marked the second consecutive year that McFadgon has been a second team all-district selection by the NABC. The teams are selected by a panel of member coaches of the NABC.
McFadgon, a native of Memphis, Tenn., is leading the Vols with 14.1 points per game on the season while Crump, a native of Houston, Texas, is adding 11.4 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this year.
First team selections included Francisco Garcia (Louisville), Chuck Hayes (Kentucky), Rodney Carney (Memphis), Taquan Dean (Louisville) and Willie Jenkins (Tennessee Tech). Joining Crump and McFadgon on the second team were Anthony Winchester (Western Kentucky), Tim Smith (East Tennessee State) and Kelenna Azubuike (Kentucky).
