242 TENNESSEE STUDENT-ATHLETES EARN SPOT ON HONOR ROLL

The University of Tennessee announced Monday that 242 student-athletes, or 53 percent, achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher to earn a spot on the Thornton Center Honor Roll for the spring semester. These honor students account for 48 percent of the student-athletes on campus.
"We certainly celebrate and acknowledge the academic achievements of these honor roll student-athletes," said Eric Brey, director of the Thornton Center. "We are proud to have them represent the university in the classroom and in their sports."
