Vols Arrive In Tampa For Outback Bowl

The Tennessee Volunteers arrived safely in Tampa for the 2008 Outback Bowl against Wisconsin on Jan. 1. The Vols enjoyed Christmas dinner prior to an initial short team meeting and a night of getting acclimated to the warm weather. Temperatures are to range from the mid 70s to 80 by the weekend.

Wednesday sees the Vols practice at the University of Tampa campus at 1:30 p.m., followed by an Outback Steakhouse team dinner at the Tampa Convention Center at 6 p.m. As is during the regular season, all practices are closed.

The Vols face Wisconsin next Tuesday at 11 a.m. on ESPN.
