Media Relations Earns National Honors

The College Sports Information Directors of America recently announced the results of its national publications contest. Among the winners were eight Tennessee media guides.
The men's golf media guide, designed by Amanda Pruitt and edited by John Painter, was named the best in the nation.
The women's soccer media guide, assembled by Brian Davis, Debby Jennings and Eric Trainer, earned a second-place nationally.
Other Tennessee publications garnering accolades were women's basketball, produced by Jennings, Trainer and Marcus Dittmer, finishing third. The track and field guide, created by Trainer, Jennings and Bud Ford, also was voted third-best nationally.
Finishing fourth were both women's swimming, by Zach Stipe, Jennings and Trainer, and men's tennis, by Pruitt.
Baseball, by Cameron Harris, Jennings and Ford, finished fifth.
The volleyball guide, by Harris, Jennings and Trainer, was sixth in the country.
