Lady Vols Honored At Neyland Stadium

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Lady Vol volleyball team was honored during the Vol football game on Saturday night at Neyland Stadium for winning the 2011 SEC Championship.
UT posted a 28-4 overall record in 2011, including a 19-1 mark in SEC play, en route to the squad's first outright conference championship in program history.
Led by four All-Americans, the Lady Vols made a trip to their seventh NCAA Tournament in the past eight seasons, and ranked in the top 10 nationally in both kills and hitting percentage.
Head Coach Rob Patrick was named the SEC Coach of the Year, while Kelsey Robinson and Mary Pollmiller garnered SEC Player and Freshman of the Year honors, respectively.
The 2012 Lady Vols (8-4, 1-2) return to action on Sunday at Thompson-Boling Arena when they host South Carolina (13-1, 2-1) in week two of conference play. First serve is slated for 1 p.m.
