Robles Named SEC Diver of the Week

Redshirt sophomore Mauricio Robles was named the SEC Diver of the Week after winning all three diving competitions at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

Robles started the meet Friday by winning the 3-meter springboard with a six-dive score of 386.30, also posting a solid 403.80 in the preliminary rounds. Saturday he won the 1-meter board by scoring 387.85, the fourth-highest score by a Vol in program history.

On Sunday, the 2012 SEC champion competed on the 10-meter platform for the first time in a year, scoring 380.30

Robles, who missed much of last season with injury, has made up for lost time starting this year. He has won the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions four times each this season.
