Tennessee's Last Meet: The Tennessee men handily took care of their SEC border rivals last time at home, defeating Kentucky 234-64 before narrowly falling to Indiana in the final relay, 157-143. Sam McHugh won the SEC Freshman of the Week after his three-win performance, leading the Vols with wins in the 200-yard butterfly, 400-yard IM and 500-yard freestyle, adding to his eight wins so far this season. Fellow freshman Peter John Stevens won the 100-yard breaststroke, while David Heron and Evan Pinion finished 1-2 in the 1650-yard freestyle, setting the first and third-fastest times in the NCAA in the event at that time. Meanwhile, Mauricio Robles dove competitively with two of the top divers in the NCAA from IU, finishing with a pair of top-three finishes in the one and three-meter.
Last Time vs. Auburn/Louisville: The current senior class has not faced Auburn in a regular season meet, but they have faced the Cardinals every year since arriving at Knoxville. After defeating UL the first two years, the Cardinals won in their home pool last season by a score of 167.5-132.5. The men won nine races overall, but UL's depth played a factor and picked up some crucial points to earn the win in Kentucky. Sean Lehane won both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke, while David Heron won both the 500-yard and 1000-yard freestyle. Tristan Slater finished his meet with three top-3 finishes, winning the 200-yard IM while finishing second 200-yard butterfly and third in the 200-yard breaststroke. UT won the 400-yard freestyle relay to end the meet, while Mauricio Robles (two victories) and Michael Howell finished in the top-4 in both diving events.

#7 Auburn: 5-0 (3-0 SEC)
#18 Louisville: 2-4 (0-1 ACC)
Tennessee's Last Meet: The Tennessee women also had no trouble earning its first conference win of the season, defeating UK 191-109. Similar to the men, the ladies also fell to a tough, deep Indiana team by a score of 169-129. Tennessee got off to a blazing start after the 200-yard Medley Relay, where the Lady Vols swept the top two spots to jump out to a quick lead after one event. Senior Molly Hannis once again swept the breaststroke events, winning the 100 and 200 by about five and nine seconds respectively. The Lady Vol sprinters also earned some valuable points for UT, as Faith Johnson won the 50-yard freestyle followed by a tie for second place between Alex Cleveland and Cherelle Thompson. Late in the race, Madison Hahn and Anna DeMonte took second and third place in 200-yard backstroke to keep the Big Orange in the meet.
Last Time vs. Auburn/Louisville: The senior women also have never faced the Tigers in a dual meet format, but has defeated UL the last four seasons, including a 170-130 win last year in which UT won 10 of the 16 events. Up in Kentucky, Lindsay Gendron led the way for UT, compiling victories in the 200-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle before finishing second in the 200-yard IM. Lauren Driscoll won the 1000-yard freestyle, while Faith Johnson won the 50-yard freestyle and Kate McNeilis earned top spot in the 100-yard freestyle. Molly Hannis won both breaststroke events and divers Tori Lamp and Sam Lera finished 1-2 in the 1-meter, with Lamp finishing second in the three-meter springboard.
