FOR STARTERS

- Tennessee outscored Mercer 33-2 on points off the bench and 26-8 in points scored in the paint.
VOL RUN & MERCER DROUGHT
- The Vols held Mercer scoreless for 7:02 in the first half, the second-longest streak UT has held an opponent without a point this season
- The Bears did not score from a 3-pointer by Ike Nwamu at 9:49, until a pair of free throws by Nwamu at 2:47
- During the last 9:39 of the half, Mercer missed 10 consecutive shots. The Bears did not make a basket until a jumper by Darious Moten with 18:45 in the second half, a total of 10 minutes, 54 seconds without scoring a basket.
- The Vols closed the half on a 10-0 run, a 19-2 run overall.
- Mercer's 15 points was the fewest points the Vols have allowed in a half since Presbyterian trailed the Vols 43-13 at halftime on Dec. 18, 2012.
FIRST HALF TOTALS
