WITH A WIN

Evens UT's all-time series with South Carolina at 14-14 when the game takes place in Columbia.
Extends UT's win streak over the Gamecocks to 15 games.
Marks the first time since 2009 that Tennessee won its first three SEC road games.
Gives the Vols three straight SEC road wins for the first time since February of 2013 (at SC, Vandy and Texas A&M).

RICHARDSON JOINS 1,000-POINT CLUB

With 16:08 left in the second half, senior guard Josh Richardson drained a 3-pointer to become the 47th all-time member of Tennessee's 1,000-Point Club.
He entered the game needing seven points to reach the 1,000-point barrier and ended up scoring 13.
Richardson scored a career-high 381 points last season, and he totaled 261 as a sophomore starter in 2012-13.
He appeared in all 34 games as a freshman in 2011-12, scoring 97 points.
Richardson has started 86 of Tennessee's last 87 games spanning the past three seasons. This is his first season starting at point guard.

10+ THREES

The Vols drained 10 3-pointers on Tuesday.
It was the fourth time this season the Vols have made at least 10. The Vols last made 10 3-pointers in their SEC opener at Mississippi State Jan. 7.
Four Vols made two 3-pointers: Punter, Richardson, Hubbs and Detrick Mostella.
UT shot 10 of 18 from 3-point range (55.6 percent). They were 23 of 40 overall from the field (57.5 percent), including 12 of 18 in the second half (66.7 percent).

DOUBLE DIGITS

Three Vols scored at least 10 points: Punter (13), Richardson (13) and Moore (11).
It was the eighth time this season Punter has scored at least 10 points and the eighth time for Moore.
Richardson has had at least 10 points in 15 of 17 games this season.

It is the second consecutive game that the Vols have used this starting lineup.

The Vols led 31-26 at halftime, the second time in SEC play the Vols have scored at least 30 points in the opening half.
Six Vols scored, led by Kevin Punter's eight points on 2 of 3 shooting with 3 free throws.
Derek Reese led every player on court with five rebounds.
The Vols shot 11 of 22 (50 percent) from the floor, while South Carolina was 12 of 31 (38.7 percent).
