WITH A WIN
- Evens UT's all-time series with South Carolina at 14-14 when the game takes place in Columbia.

RICHARDSON JOINS 1,000-POINT CLUB
- With 16:08 left in the second half, senior guard Josh Richardson drained a 3-pointer to become the 47th all-time member of Tennessee's 1,000-Point Club.
- He entered the game needing seven points to reach the 1,000-point barrier and ended up scoring 13.
- Richardson scored a career-high 381 points last season, and he totaled 261 as a sophomore starter in 2012-13.
- He appeared in all 34 games as a freshman in 2011-12, scoring 97 points.
- Richardson has started 86 of Tennessee's last 87 games spanning the past three seasons. This is his first season starting at point guard.

- The Vols drained 10 3-pointers on Tuesday.
- It was the fourth time this season the Vols have made at least 10. The Vols last made 10 3-pointers in their SEC opener at Mississippi State Jan. 7.
- Four Vols made two 3-pointers: Punter, Richardson, Hubbs and Detrick Mostella.
- UT shot 10 of 18 from 3-point range (55.6 percent). They were 23 of 40 overall from the field (57.5 percent), including 12 of 18 in the second half (66.7 percent).
