COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Tennessee volleyball team opens its final week of road matches with a Wednesday tilt at South Carolina.
The match begins at 6 p.m. and will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
Tennessee (20-9, 6-8 SEC) lost a pair of matches last week, on the road at Alabama and at home against then-No. 21 Kentucky. South Carolina (10-16, 3-10 SEC) lost matches last week at Alabama and Auburn.
The Vols will play at No. 15 Florida on Sunday.

NEWCOMERS IN STARTING ROLES
Five newcomers have started for UT: Bri Holmes, Erica Treiber, Stephanie Buss, Brooke Schumacher and Nora Reed. Treiber has started every match.
Treiber, a freshman, has contributed a team-leading 1.13 blocks/set and is third on the team with 2.21 kills/set at the middle hitter position. She currently ranks sixth in the SEC in blocks and 10th in hitting percentage (.355). She had a career match last time against South Carolina (10/16) in which she had 16 kills and three aces.
Holmes is second on the team with 2.69 kills/set. She had a season-best 22 kills vs. LSU (10/7). She and has 14 matches with 10+ kills this season.
Schumacher has started four SEC matches as a defensive specialist and three at libero. She averages 2.11 digs/set and six 11+ dig matches. Schumacher recorded 15 digs against Alabama (11/6), a career best.
Buss has started seven matches; Reed has started five. Buss started her first SEC match against Kentucky on Sunday, recording six kills and five blocks.
