On Friday, October 16 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. ET, Tennessee will hold Scout Day at Lindsey Nelson Stadium, inviting Major League scouts to attend practice for a look at the up-and-coming Volunteers.
The annual tradition of the Orange and White World Series will also return next month, set for October 25, 27, 29, 31 and November 1. Designed as an intrasquad, best-of-five series, Tennessee will play its Orange and White World Series Championship game on Sunday, November 1, signaling the end of Fall Ball and Tennessee Baseball Family Day for all members of the 2015-16 Volunteers squad.
After a successful inaugural event in 2014, Tennessee will hold their Halloween Extravaganza on Friday, Oct. 30 at the ballpark. Dressed fully in Halloween costumes of their choice, the baseball team will hit the field for an open practice and scrimmage game for the fun and entertainment of Vol Baseball fans, friends and family.
Immediately following the costume-clad scrimmage, fans will be welcomed to tour the baseball facilities and meet the current members of the Tennessee Baseball team for light trick or treating.
Capping off the end of their Fall schedule, the Vols will hold UT Baseball Alumni Weekend on Friday, Nov. 6 - Saturday, Nov. 7, welcoming back all VFLs who played for the Big Orange, including members of the 1995 and 2005 College World Series teams, who will be recognized in an on-field presentation at Neyland Stadium during the Tennessee-South Carolina football game.
More information and details regarding fall events will be announced as details become available.
