Reilman Named to World Cup Roster

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Tennessee freshman Joey Reilman was named to the 18-and-under team selected to represent USA Swimming at two FINA World Cup events in Doha and Dubai.

Reilman, a native of Medina, Ohio, is one of 14 members of the 18-and-under roster.

He specializes in the backstroke events and was named to the USA Swimming Junior National Team for his performance in the 200-meter backstroke earlier this year (1 minute, 59.90 seconds). He already has 2016 Olympic trial qualifying times in both the 100 and 200 backstroke.

As part of the World Cup series, Reilman will compete in Doha on Nov. 2-3 and Dubai on Nov. 6-7.
