STEVENS TAKES SILVER AT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS -- Tennessee junior Peter John Stevens captured the silver medal in the 50-meter freestyle Sunday in the final session of the FINA Short Course World Championships.

BOWDEN NAMED SEC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK -- Tennessee's Jordan Bowden was selected as the SEC men's basketball Freshman of the Week Monday after scoring in double figures against both Presbyterian and North Carolina last week.

LADY VOLS SCORE SEASON-HIGH 92 POINTS IN WIN OVER APP STATE -- Five Lady Vols scored in double figures, as Tennessee (5-4) snapped a two-game skid with a 92-66 victory over Appalachian State on Wednesday night at Thompson-Boling Arena.

BARNETT: CONSENSUS ALL-AMERICAN -- Following the announcement of all five major All-America teams, Tennessee junior Derek Barnett is the Vols' first consensus All-American since VFL Eric Berry in 2009.
