In UT's 55-0 win over Tennessee Tech on Nov. 5, he led the team with seven tackles. Warrior made his first career start at strong safety against Missouri on Nov. 19 and tied his career high with seven tackles. The Duluth, Ga., product is the son of VFL and two-time All-American Dale Carter and he has also been one of UT's key contributors on special teams coverage units with three stops on kickoff returns.
The Vols have had a player named to the SEC All-Freshman Team (selected by the coaches) for 14-straight seasons, dating back to 2003. Warrior is the first UT defensive back to earn SEC All-Freshman honors since Todd Kelly Jr. in 2014.
