UT Golf Programs To Host Co-Ed Summer Camp

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee men's golf program and the Tennessee women's golf program will host a co-ed summer camp from June 4 to June 6 at The Mack and Jonnie Day Golf Practice Facility.
The Vol Golf Camp is open to boys and girls ages 12-18 who are interested in improving their golf game this summer. The camp will focus on all aspects of the game, including ball striking, short game, on-course instruction and rules. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A with the coaches and information on what it is like to play Division I college golf.
All Tennessee Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants and are limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.
The camp will take place at Tennessee's state-of-the-art Mack and Jonnie Day Golf Practice Facility. This 28-acre, $4.5 million golf practice facility located next to the beautiful Tennessee River is one of the finest in the nation. The facility opened in November 2010 and was designed by The Greg Norman Golf Design Group.
The camp is priced at $495 and includes a t-shirt, a water bottle, lunch on June 5 and snacks and drinks throughout each day. Participants will be responsible for their own lodging and all other meals.

How do I get to the Mack and Jonnie Day practice facility?
The facility is on the Cherokee Farm Innovation Campus off Alcoa Highway in Knoxville, Tenn.
- From 1-40, take exit for Alcoa Highway toward Airport
- Take exit for Cherokee Farm
- Take first left onto Accelerator Way
- At the dead end, turn right onto Eagle Flight Way
- Follow that road down the hill and the facility will be on your right
Are parents allowed to stay and watch?
Of course! Parents are welcome to stay and watch, but are asked to stay off instructional areas.
What is the cancellation policy?
All but a $50 deposit will be refunded if you cancel prior to Sunday, May 28. There will be no refunds after that date.
