UT Softball Welcomes Fans During 2017 Meet & Greet

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Fans had the unique opportunity to interact face-to-face with the players and staff of the 2017 Tennessee softball team on Saturday afternoon at the program's seventh annual Meet and Greet at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
Supporters of all ages came out to Lee Stadium and were treated with tours of the facilities, autographs, pictures, batting practice with the players, face painting and more. Co-head coaches Ralph Weekly and Karen Weekly addressed the crowd and introduced the team while some of the most vocal fans practiced some new chants for the year.
Fans were also able to purchase season tickets from the UT Ticket Office staff. Anyone still looking to purchase tickets can do so by visiting the ticket office at Thompson-Boling Arena, calling 865-656-1200 or ordering online at AllVols.com.
Tennessee kicks off its 2017 season with a doubleheader against Tennessee Tech and Middle Tennessee on Feb. 10 at the Eagle Round Robin in Statesboro, Ga. The Vols' home opener is slated for March 2 when they kick off the Tennessee Invitational with a doubleheader against Southeastern Louisiana and Ohio.
