Spring Spirit Clinic Set for This Weekend

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -Â The University of Tennessee Spirit Program's annual Spring Tryout Prep Clinic will be held Sunday, February 24 for aspiring cheerleaders, dancers, and mascots who want to tryout for one of the spirit teams.
The clinic is open to current high school juniors and seniors as well as current college students and will be held from 1-4pm on UT's campus. Registration and payment of $60 must be completed online at TennesseeSpiritCamps.com by midnight on Saturday night, February 23.Â
Following a successful appearance at UCA/UDAÂ College National Championships in January, where Tennessee Spirit was one of only two programs in the nation to place all three teams in the top-five of Division 1A, interest in the program is soaring. Registrations for this weekend's clinic have already surpassed 2018 by more than 34%, with still several days remaining.
The clinic will give participants a sneak peek at what tryouts are like, skills that are required to be successful, and interaction with UT coaches and current team members. More information about location and other details will be emailed to participants following successful registration.
