Mascot Team Set to Hold Tryouts

Tryouts for the 2022-2023 mascot team will be held Saturday, April 30 at 9am on the University of Tennessee campus. Tryouts are open to all 2022-2023 University of Tennessee students, including incoming freshmen, incoming transfer students, and current UT students.

The tryout process is designed to provide all students an opportunity, regardless of experience. The morning session will consist of training and practice in each of the elements that will be evaluated, led by coaches and former mascots. Evaluations will then take place in the afternoon and will conclude by 3pm. The team will be announced on Sunday, April 31.

More information about tryouts, including where the tryouts will be held, will be sent via email upon submission of the registration form. Deadline for registration is Friday, April 29 at 5pm. For questions or more information about the mascot program, email mascot@utk.edu.
