Admission is free to fans. Live stats are available here, and live video of the match will be accessible here. Cracked Racquets will be hosting a live broadcast of the match, and that can be found here.
ROUND HISTORY
Saturday marks the sixth straight season the Vols will compete in the NCAA Round of 16. This is the first time since the 2021 campaign that Tennessee has gone away from Knoxville to play in this round, as they traveled to the championship site in Orlando, Florida, to take on Arizona.
UT is 3-2 in the Super Regional round since that term was coined in 2019. Overall, the Vols are 12-11 in the NCAA Round of 16, with three of those victories coming under current head coach Chris Woodruff.
SCOUTING THE LONGHORNS
For the third time in less than a month, the two storied programs will face off against each other. The first meeting came in Knoxville, where the Vols tallied a 4-2 decision in the final SEC home match of the season. Six days later, Texas would even the season series, pulling together a 4-2 victory in the SEC Tournament Semifinals in Columbia, South Carolina.
The Longhorns hold a 10-8 lead in the series that dates back to 1975. Saturday will mark the second straight year the two teams have met in the NCAA Tournament, as last year Texas posted a 4-2 victory in the NCAA Quarterfinals in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The last overall contest in Austin came in 2018 when Texas defeated Tennessee in the ITA Kickoff Weekend at the Texas Tennis Center.
