Vols in the NFL – Week 5

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Former Tennessee standouts continued their NFL campaigns in Week 5, with several former Vols making contributions on defense and special teams.
Shy Tuttle highlighted the week with a takeaway, recovering a fumble while recording two tackles for Washington in its matchup against the New York Giants. Green Bay cornerback Kamal Hadden tied his career high with four tackles in the Packers' win over Chicago, while Tennessee Titans defensive back Alontae Taylor also recorded four tackles against Houston.
Minnesota defensive back Theo Jackson contributed three tackles in the Vikings' win over New Orleans. In the NFC East, Giants cornerback Colton Hood recorded three tackles on the road against Washington.
On special teams, Miami running back Jaylen Wright returned two kickoffs for 53 yards and added 11 rushing yards on six carries. Seattle wide receiver Velus Jones Jr. returned two kickoffs for 40 yards and recorded two tackles against San Francisco.
