KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Camille Spink has been named to the Team USA roster for the 2026 World Aquatics Short Course World Championships. This year's world championships will take place in Beijing, China Dec. 1-6.
Spink is one of 18 athletes that will be making their debut with Team USA. She is slated to compete in the 4x200 freestyle.
Spink has been one of the top swimmers in the country to begin the season. The senior leads the nation in both the 50 (20.95) and 100 freestyle (45.91) and is the only collegiate swimmer to go sub-21 seconds and sub-46 seconds in both events. Spink is coming off a dominating performance at the CSL Match No. 6, where she picked up two individual wins in both the 50 and 100 freestyle and swam the leadoff leg in the 4x50 freestyle relay win for Tennessee.
Spink has had a storied career for the Big Orange. Through her four years on Rocky Top, she has earned 18 All-America certificates and won 21 SEC medals. At the 2026 SEC Championships, Spink swept the 50-, 100-, and 200 freestyle events for the second consecutive year, the first swimmer to do so since 2007. Spink has also capture gold in both the 50 and 100 freestyle at SECs in three-straight seasons, becoming the first female swimmer to win both events in three consecutive seasons since former Lady Vol Erika Connolly did so from 2018-20.
