BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference released its 2026 Soccer Community Service Team on Wednesday morning. Junior defender Devin Davis represents Tennessee in this year's edition of the team.
The conference names a Community Service Team for each of its 23 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his or her community through superior service efforts.
A native of Frisco, Texas, Davis leads Tennessee in community service hours logged this fall through a variety of organizations and activities.
Davis has spent time as a volunteer assistant PE teacher at Lonsdale Elementary School in Knoxville, leading students in class activities.
She also volunteered with the Edge Foundation to help put on Kickball with Kurt and Friends; an annual event held in recognition of youth violence prevention week. As a volunteer at the event, she helped pack groceries for families in need, oversaw the kids' area, served lunch and helped with equipment and coaching during the kickball games.
Additionally, alongside some of her Tennessee soccer teammates, Davis visited Morning Point Senior Living to visit with residents for an ice cream social and lead a Wheel of Fortune game.
Davis has been a key leader in Tennessee soccer's involvement with Team Impact, a national non-profit organization that matches children facing serious illnesses and disabilities with college athletic teams. Last spring, the Lady Vols welcomed Team Impact recruit Victoria to the team with an official signing ceremony at Regal Soccer Stadium.
On the pitch, Davis has been a mainstay for Tennessee this season. She led all field players on the roster with 1,388 minutes played, anchoring the defense to six clean sheets. Davis also scored her first collegiate goal this season, heading home a corner in the Lady Vols' 2-0 win over South Alabama.
