Two Podium Finishes Highlight Day One of NCAAs

ATLANTA -- A pair of podium finishes for the Lady Vols kicked off the week at the NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championships at McAuley Aquatic Center.

Tennessee notched a fourth place finish in the 200 Medley Relay, thanks to a school record time of 1:32.66 to earn First Team All-America status. The team of Jillian Crooks, McKenzie Siroky, Mizuki Hirai, and Camille Spink broke the previous school record set last month at SEC Championships. This marks the best finish in the 200 Medley Relay since the Lady Vols won the event back in 2019.

The 800 Free Relay squad secured its fifth consecutive podium performance, taking eighth place with a time of 6:53.78. The lineup of Ella Jansen, Emily Armen, Amelia Mason, and Emily Brown set the fifth-fastest time in UT history en route to a pick up First Team All-America honors.
