| STEP UP - Summary of Needs | |||
 McKenzie-Lawson Athletics Center | The new Toby McKenzie and Brenda Lawson Athletics Administration Building, adjoining the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center, provides a new primary entrance to the athletics program. The four-story complex will terrace to the corner of Lake Louden Blvd. and Chamique Holdsclaw Dr. The first floor gallery will recognize UT's team and individual NCAA and SEC champions. Perhaps most importantly, construction of this new facility allowed for a much-needed 50-yard expansion of the indoor artificial turf practice field, which is used throughout the year by nearly all men's and wonen's athletic teams. | ||

| The new, state of the art Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center will be constructed adjacent to the current building and will include a new pool and diving well, new seating and locker rooms. The improvements will not only aid in recruiting, but will result in faster times for the swimmers. The new Jones Aquatic Center will help Tennessee maintain its standing among the premier swimming programs in America. For Knoxville and East Tennessee, the Jones Aquatic Center will mean prestige and increased economic activity brought by potential national level meets such as USA Swimming, NCAA Championships and the U.S. Olympic Trials. | ||

 | Tennessee's men's and women's golf programs have competed for national and conference honors in recent seasons, while advancing to NCAA Tournament play. UT's golf teams should continue to excel with the addition of a new practice facility and clubhouse. A new, 5,000-square foot golf practice facility designed by Greg Norman Golf Design Company will provide heated hitting bays for year-round practice, coaches' offices, video training space and locker rooms. | ||

 Wolf-Kaplan Hospitality Center | Nothing matches the intensity inside the Vols' football locker room on game day. To continue the tradition and meet the needs of the football program, the Neyland Stadium locker room complex will be expanded and upgraded. Improvements include the Wolf-Kaplan Hospitality Center, which serves as a gathering place for future Vols during pregame, halftime and postgame. The Wolf-Kaplan Center was dedicated on September 20, 2002 and has already been utilized on non-game days for other athletic and university functions. | ||

 Softball Stadium | While the University of Tennessee's Lady Vol softball history is short, it's proven successful. Since its addition as an intercollegiate sport in 1995, a strong foundation has been laid which includes an impressive 180-94 record and seven players selected as All-SEC. The Lady Vols won the SEC Eastern Division crown and received their first NCAA bid in 1999. Since the program's inception, home games have been played in an off-campus, city-owned facility at Tyson Park. Plans are to build a facility on the UT Dairy Farm adjacent to the proposed soccer stadium. The new stadium will feature permanent stands, dugouts, lights, locker rooms, rest rooms and concession facilities. | ||

 Regal Soccer Stadium Regal Announcement | The average attendance for women's soccer games at UT is in the top 10 nationally. Games currently are held at a facility off Lainard lane, which offers a capacity of just 1,200. With the growth of soccer nationally, plans are to build a permanent soccer stadium that can be enlarged as demand warrants. The new stadium will include a press box, rest rooms, concession stands and locker rooms. | ||
