1. How to Enter the Contest
a. The Neyland Stadium 25 Millionth Fan Promotion will begin on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 and end on Saturday, November 22, 2003
b. To participate in the contest, fan may fill out a registration form at the Thompson Boling Arena Ticket Office, Tennessee Traditions Store, Room 269 Stokely Athletic Center, or may mail in their name, address, and phone number on a 3"x5" note card to University of Tennessee Athletic Department, Neyland Stadium 25th Millionth Fan Promotion, P.O. Box 15016, Knoxville, TN 37901. All fans entering Neyland Stadium on gamedays are automatically entered in the contest and may not submit mail in or registration form entries.
The University of Tennessee is not responsible for lost, stolen, mutilated, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, or untimely entries.
c. One entry per person per home game.
2. Eligibility Restrictions:
a. This contest is open to all ticket holders and fans who register at entry box locations or mail in entry forms who are 18 years of age or older. Employees and immediate family members of The University of Tennessee, current University of Tennessee student-athletes and immediate family members of current student-athletes or participating sponsors are ineligible to participate or win.
3. Prizes
a. The Grand Prize a Sea Ray 185 BowRider, two season tickets to all Tennessee Athletic events for the 2004 season, $250 gift certificates from each promotional sponsor, and the opportunity to run through the T will be awarded at the Tennessee/Vanderbilt game on November 22, 2003. The approximate value of the Grand Prize is $25,000. One "Fan of the Game" Prize Pack will be awarded at each home Tennessee Football games played on August 30, September 6, September 27, October 11, November 1, November 15. Each Prize pack will consist of gift certificates from various sponsors. Each Prize pack will have an approximate value of $4,000.
b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the Tennessee Athletic Marketing Office (1720 Volunteer Blvd., Knoxville, TN 37996). In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, the winner assumes the risk of its arrival. The University of Tennessee is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. Winner is responsible for postage.
c. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.
4. Selection of Winners
a. Thursday before each home game a Neyland Stadium gate will be selected and a number will be selected (i.e. 100th person through the gate) by random drawing.
b. Mail in entries and registration entries will be considered as one gate of Neyland Stadium.
c. If a mail in entry form or registration form is selected, this person will be contacted on the Thursday before the home game and will be provided two tickets to that game.
d. A third party not affiliated with the University or participating contest sponsors will oversee the selection process.
e. All selections are final.
5. Conditions
a. Payment of all federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guest or traveling companion, if any) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Contest winner will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of prizes. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold The University of Tennessee, participating sponsors and their employees, agents, and directors harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation on the contest.
6. The University of Tennessee reserves the right to make changes in the rules of this contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.
7. No Purchase in necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
8. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of The University of Tennessee
9. The University of Tennessee is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering, or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.
10. Copies of the written rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the Tennessee Athletic Marketing offices located at 1720 Volunteer Boulevard, Room 269, Knoxville, TN 37996.
