During the season, college football fans who show team spirit by buying licensed merchandise and memorabilia will make their dollars go the distance. From September through December, eBay Sports will track the amount of money collectively spent per team and release weekly top 25 standings. When the contest ends in January 2004, eBay will give the school that generates the most in sales a $25,000 donation to be used toward a scholarship--scoring a major victory for education.
