Tennessee 'Ultimate Fan Experience' Among Vol Memorabilia Available in UTSports.com Auction

CARLSBAD, Calif., (September 17, 2003) - Tennessee fans have until mid-afternoon Friday to bid on several exclusive items as part of the school's ongoing auction, at www.utsports.com/ebay.
Note that the ending times listed on the auctions are Pacific Daylight Time.Items, currently available for big through mid-day on Friday include:
- Ultimate Fan Experience includes 4 tickets, 4 pre-game sideline passes, 4 programs, 1 autographed football and 1 Gameday parking pass to the November 1, 2003 Tennessee vs. Duke game at Neyland Stadium.
- Pat Summitt autographed commemorative 800-win leather basketball. Complete with date/opponent/score (Jan. 14, 2003 vs. DePaul) of Summitt's 800th win along with list of records and awards garnered by the Lady Vols head coach.
- An authentic Wilson GST football used by the Vols and signed by Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer.
Proceeds from this auction will benefit the University of Tennessee Athletic Department. The auction is part of a nationwide program with eBay Sports and OCSN, which partners with Tennessee and 144 university athletic departments and conferences to manage and maintain Official Athletic Sites.
During the season, college football fans who show team spirit by buying licensed merchandise and memorabilia will make their dollars go the distance. From September through December, eBay Sports will track the amount of money collectively spent per team and release weekly top 25 standings. When the contest ends in January 2004, eBay will give the school that generates the most in sales a $25,000 donation to be used toward a scholarship-scoring a major victory for education.
