MEMBERS
There are two categories of membership in The University of Tennessee Lettermen's
T-Club. Full active membership is available to any person who has been awarded
the varsity letter "T" in a sport sponsored by The University of
Tennessee Athletic Department and deemed to be a "full status sport" by
the Athletic Department. All members meeting these criteria and who have paid
their annual dues shall be known as full active members with voting privileges,
shall be eligible to hold office, and may exercise such other privileges as
may be provided for by the Club.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
There shall also be an Associate Membership eligible to any athlete at The
University of Tennessee who participated in a varsity sport for one full
season as indicated by their name appearing on a squad list or roster for
their respective sport, with said sport begin fully supported by The University
of Tennessee Athletic Department and deemed a "full status sport" by
the Athletic Department. All past and present head coaches and assistant
coaches in a sport as defined in the Section for a period of two or more
years are eligible to be associate members. Managers, trainers and cheerleaders
who were members of a team or squad for at least one year are eligible for
associate membership. Associate member are not eligible to hold office, have
voting privileges, be eligible for football season tickets through the Lettermen's
Club, or have their name appear on the Wall of Fame.
