- Part of the 3V8 crew that placed fourth, the highest finish of the day for Tennessee, at the Big 12 Championships with a time of 7:01.625.
- Part of the 2V4 boat that placed second against Alabama with a time of 6:59.3 in Oak Ridge.
- Rowed five seat in the 3V8 at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational and took first-place with a time of 6:03.451.
- Took first in the Women’s Collegiate Novice 8+ at the Secret City Head Race, making it down the course in 20:28.5.
Personal
- Daughter of Juliana and George Austin
- Played competitive volleyball for six years with Biltmore Volleyball Academy
- On her biggest sports influences: "My biggest sports influences are my parents because they challenge me to try new things and push myself."
- On why she chose to attend UT: "I chose the University of Tennessee because I can't resist the beautiful orange, especially in checkerboard form. I also really admired their drive to continue to better the school."
- On the athletic accomplishment she is most proud of: "I am most proud of being a part of the Asheville High School volleyball team and being part of their unfailing dedication to each other."
- Outside of sports, she enjoys hiking, being with friends and watching movies.
