Angela Beth Lynch, known as “Ms. Beth,” joined Tennessee Athletics in July of 2008 and has served as the front desk receptionist and student worker coordinator since the beginning of her tenure. In her role, Ms. Beth serves as a supplemental administrative assistant for faculty, staff and students, helping connect people with information and resources while also supervising student staff throughout the year.

Prior to joining Tennessee Athletics, she worked in data entry at Edfinancial in Knoxville for three years and spent eleven years in customer service with Kinko’s/FedEx Office in Knoxville. Before that, she worked two seasons at Dollywood in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Born in Knoxville and raised in Morristown, Tennessee, Ms. Beth earned her associate degree from Walters State Community College in 1991 and later received her bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Tennessee on May 15, 1998, becoming a second-generation graduate following her mother, Barbara Faye Holbrook Foster (1940–2021).

Ms. Beth and her husband of 35 years, Shawn Lynch, currently live in West Knox County. They share their home with several canine and feline fur babies and enjoy road trips, movies and all things geek culture.
