Michael Tarantino serves as the Assistant Athletics Director for Finance for Tennessee Athletics. Tarantino works to align Tennessee's financial and operational strategies to support student-athletes.
A proud two-time graduate of Tennessee’s Haslam College of Business, Tarantino earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting & information management before obtaining his certified public accountant (CPA) license.
Prior to returning to Rocky Top, Tarantino worked in public accounting and the professional services industry where he gained extensive experience in financial management, reporting and strategic improvement. He is excited to bring his professional expertise and passion for the university back to UT Athletics.
Originally from Knoxville, Tarantino and his wife, Carson, are happy to be raising their two-year-old son in the community they call home.
