Mitchell Salisbury joined Tennessee Athletics in the summer of 2023 and currently serves as the coordinator of eligibility & operations, a role he has held since 2025. In this position, he plays a key role in the transfer evaluation process for both incoming and outgoing student-athletes, while also auditing continuing eligibility and progress toward degree requirements.
He previously served Tennessee as an assistant academic counselor from 2023-25.
Before arriving in Knoxville, Salisbury worked as an academic advising intern at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama.
A native of Wayland, Michigan, he earned his bachelor’s degree in management from Michigan State University and later completed his master’s degree in sport management at the University of Tennessee.
Outside of work, Mitchell enjoys playing golf and attending sporting events. As a dedicated Detroit Lions fan, he eagerly awaits their first trip to the Super Bowl.
