Nyla Johnson

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Nyla Johnson earned both her Bachelor of Science in public health, with a minor in psychology, and her Master of Public Health in health equity from Xavier University of Louisiana.

Throughout her time at Xavier, she held multiple leadership roles within the Department of Athletics, including director of baseball operations, graduate assistant for facility management and event operations and director of competitive cheer operations, where she managed team travel, event logistics, facility operations, budgets and championship events.

Most recently, Nyla served as a tournament-time uniform coordinator for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, further expanding her experience in large-scale international operations. She is passionate about sports operations and committed to creating exceptional experiences for student-athletes, teams and fans.
