Jones Center to Host Zone B Diving Championships

As the baseball team opens up its Southeastern Conference schedule and the basketball team begins SEC tournament play, the Vol diving squad will welcome collegiate divers to Knoxville this weekend for the Zone B Diving Championships.
Divers use this meet to qualify for the NCAA championships March 26-28 at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
UT is one of five schools to host a diving qualifying event. Other schools hosting a zone meet are University of Buffalo, University of Minnesota, University of Missouri and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Action will begin Friday at noon with the men's one-meter preliminary and final rounds.
