The Series
• With the win, Tennessee moves to 44-15 in the all-time series versus Georgia dating back to the 1969 season. Tennessee has won both meetings in 2011-12, previously topping the Lady Dawgs in Knoxville Jan. 5.
• Tennessee leads the series 17-3 since the rivalry moved into the 21st century.
• UT's senior class is 5-1 versus Georgia in its Lady Vol tenure. The win marks the first victory in Athens in their four years.

• Today's starters: Ariel Massengale, Cierra Burdick, Vicki Baugh, Shekinna Stricklen and Glory Johnson.
• This is the first game with these five lining up for the opening tip. The Lady Vols are now 1-0 sporting this lineup combination. It is the seventh different combination employed by Tennessee so far this season.
