Williams Sixth in 400mH at USA Junior Championships

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Future Lady Vol Felicia Brown and Vol Freshman Michael Williams were in action at the USA Junior Championships this afternoon.
Freshman Vol Michael Williams ran in the 400m hurdle final today, finishing sixth in a time of 53.34. Williams earned a PR in the preliminary round yesterday, finishing in 52.86.
Brown competed in two events at the USA Junior Championships Saturday, advancing in one race to the final.
Brown earned a ticket to the finals of the 400m, finishing second in heat one and seventh overall. Her time in that event was 53.46. Brown will compete again tomorrow at 3:15 p.m.
Despite her efforts, Brown did not advance in the 200m. She finished in 24.32, ending up in fifth place in heat three and twelfth overall.
Cassie Wertman, an incoming Lady Vol freshman, will compete on Sunday in the shot put.
