POSTGAME NOTES
THE SERIES
- This marked the 50th meeting between the two schools. UT holds a 40-10 record in the series, including 13-4 at Auburn.
- The Lady Vols are now on an 11 game winning streak.
- UT's win is its 12th straight vs. an SEC team and is the longest streak in the SEC vs. conference foes. It began last season in a 93-63 home win over Auburn last season on Feb. 20, 2014.
- Tennessee is the fifth SEC loss for Auburn this season.
- Tennessee's win lifts the program's all-time record to 1,262-281 in its 70th season.
- With the win, the Lady Vols have won eight straight at Auburn.
11-GAME WIN STREAK
- A win over Auburn gave UT its 11th consecutive win this season.
- The 11 game winning streak this season is the longest since the 2010-11 season when the Lady Vols went on to win 25 in a row with just two losses prior.
- UT's winning streak is the second-longest active streak in the league, behind #1/1 South Carolina.
FOR STARTERS
- Today's starters: Bashaara Graves, Cierra Burdick, Isabelle Harrison, Andraya Carter, Jordan Reynolds.
- Graves and Reynolds are the only two that have started every game this season.
- This is the sixth straight game that the Lady Vols have used this line-up. They are now 7-0 with the group.
- The jump ball was controlled by Auburn.
- The first points were scored by Bashaara Graves with a lay-up.
OFF BENCH
- The first Lady Vol off the bench was Ariel Massengale, in for Isabelle Harrison.
- Alexa Middleton was the second Lady Vol off the bench.
- Nia Moore checked into the game with 11:49 left in the first half.
- With 5:21 left in the first half, Jaime Nared entered the game.
- Kortney Dunbar came into the game at the end of the game.
CARTER WITH THE THREES
- Andraya Carter scored her first double-digit game since scoring back to back double-digit scores vs. Mizzou and Vandy. She earned a total of 11 points.
- In the first half, Carter was 3-for-3 from beyond the arc and led all scorers with 11 points.
- Carter was not only active on the offense but also racked up four assists and four steals.
DEFENSE WINS THE GAME
- The Lady Vols had their best defensive effort of the SEC slate. They haven't allowed more than 58 points in an SEC game in 2014-15.
- Auburn's Husina Muhammad entered averaging 17.3 ppg. in SEC play and finished 4-of-14 for just nine points.
- UT defended the ball well from beyond the arc. AU did not score their first three-point shot until there was 9:52 left in the game and was just 2-for-9.
- The 18 points at the half by the Tigers was the second lowest first half point total in SEC play.
- The Lady Vols forced 15 turnovers in the game.
- Tennessee only allowed Auburn to shoot 32.2 percent for the game.
OFFENSIVELY SPEAKING
- The Lady Vols finished the game with 14 assists with four of those coming from Andraya Carter. Cierra Burdick had three for the game.
- Through 17 games, Tennessee has 255 assists compared to only 169 for its opponents.
- After beginning the game 0-for-7, Isabelle Harrison finished with nine points. She grabbed 11 rebounds, her fifth time with double digit boards.
- Jordan Reynolds tied her career-high 11 points. It was her fourth time scoring in double figures this season and third time in last five games. She shot 5-for-6 and added five rebounds, two assists and three steals.
- Cierra Burdick finished the game with 10 points, which is her fourth straight game in double figures.
- Andraya Carter was one of the three Lady Vols to hit a double digit score.
FREE THROW SUCCESS
- The Lady Vols lead the SEC in free throw accuracy and has now hit at least 80 percent from the charity stripe in nine of 17 games.
- Tennessee connected on 5-of-6 attempts vs. Auburn for 83.3 percent.
TENNESSEE-AUBURN CONNECTIONS
- Ariel Massengale, Nia Moore and Lady Vols manager Annaya Moore played with Auburn junior Cabriana Capers in high school at Bolingbrook HS in Illinois.
AT THE HALF
- The Lady Vols had the largest lead of the game with a score of 26-18.
- UT had its second best first-half point total (26) in SEC play and 2nd best defensive effort (18) in league play this season
- UT was outrebounded by Auburn 22-19.
- Tennessee was shooting 34.5 percent (10-29) while Auburn shot 25.8 percent (8-31).
- Andraya Carter led all scorers with 11 points.
- UT had six assists in the first half and forced nine turnovers.
- The Lady Vols limited AU's leading scorer Hasina Muhammad to just six points.

- The Lady Vols will finish their road trip on Monday, Jan. 19 at #7/7 Notre Dame.
- UT returns to Thompson-Boling Arena on Jan. 22 to host LSU for the annual "We Back Pat" game.
