Tennessee went on a 11-0 run to start the second half The Lady Vols made four consecutive field goals to start the half, capped by 3-pointer by Jordan Reynolds (17:51). Tennessee's defense forced five turnovers before the first media timeout (15:32)
Andraya Carter (13 points) and Jordan Reynolds (10 points) both recorded season highs in scoring. It was the first time Carter scored at least 10 points since Dec. 3 against St. Francis. She had not scored more than four points in a game the last four contests. It was the first time Reynolds scored at least 10 points since Nov. 30 at Texas. Ariel Massengale finished with 14 points, then seventh time this season she has scored at least 10 points. Bashaara Graves led the Lady Vols with 11 rebounds, tying a season best. She has recorded at least 10 rebounds in seven games this season.
With 3 assists, Ariel Massengale moved up to sixth on the Tennessee career assist with 454. (3 to 454). She passed Kellie Jolly, who had 452 assists from 1995-99. Massengale was 24 assists this season.
