POSTGAME NOTES
THE SERIES
- This marked the 62nd meeting between the schools.
- UT now holds a 47-15 record in the series, including 20-4 in Knoxville.
- Tennessee has won 13 games in a row vs. the Lady Bulldogs.
- Holly Warlick is 3-0 vs. the Lady Bulldogs.
- This is the 15th straight game in Thompson-Boling Arena that the Lady Vols have been victorious, including 12 this season.

- Tennessee freshman Alexa Middleton and Georgia junior Shacobia Barbee are both alums of Murfreesboro Riverdale HS.
- UGA junior guar Marjorie Butler is from Knoxville and hails from Webb HS, which is where former Lady Vol Glory Johnson attended.
SEASON-HIGH ATTENDANCE
- Today's attendance was: 13,428.
- It was the largest crowd of the season and the most in attendance since the March 2, 2014 game vs. South Carolina when 14,072 Lady Vol fans filled Thompson-Boling Arena.
FOR STARTERS
- Today's starters: Bashaara Graves, Cierra Burdick, Isabelle Harrison, Andraya Carter, Jordan Reynolds.
- Graves and Reynolds are the only two that have started every game this season.
- This is the ninth straight game that the Lady Vols have used this line-up. They are now 9-1 with the group.
- The jump ball was controlled by Tennessee for the 14th time this season.
- The first points were scored by Jordan Reynolds with a lay-up.
OFF THE BENCH
- Ariel Massengale was the first off the bench for the 15th time this season.
- Jaime Nared and Nia Moore were next in for the Lady Vols. They entered the game with 15:47 left in the first half.
- Alexa Middleton came in with under 15 minutes left in the first half.
- Kortney Dunbar entered the game with 10:04 left in the first half.She shot her first points since the game vs. Lipscomb on Dec. 7 with a trey.
FRESHMEN IMPACT
- In the first half, Alexa Middleton, Jaime Nared and Kortney Dunbar combined for 15 of the Lady Vols 30 points.
- Nared earned her most points since scoring 20 vs. Saint Francis on Dec. 3, 2014. She finished with seven points and was perfect from the line going 5-for-5. She grabbed a rebound and had two blocks.
- Middleton had her second consecutive scoring game with five points. She was 3-for-3 from the charity stripe and added three rebounds and an assist.
- Dunbar earned her first points since the game vs. Lipscomb on Dec. 7, 2014 with a trey.
OFFENSIVELY SPEAKING
- The Lady Vols went on their 21st and 22nd runs of 10-0 or more vs. the Lady Bulldogs going on runs of 14-0 and 12-0.
- Tennessee had its longest lull in scoring to start the second half. The Lady Vols went scoreless under 11:53 left in the game before back-to-back baskets by Cierra Burdick and Ariel Massengale. The seniors were 0-for-13 prior to those shots.
- Massengale was 0-for-7 from beyond the arc before hitting her first trey.
- The seniors combined for 23 points all of which came in the second half.
- Jordan Reynolds had a career-night notching a game-high 15 points for a career-high. She added four rebounds, two steals and an assist.
- Massengale was the only other Lady Vol to score in double digits with 10 points. She added an assist to bring her career total to 471.
- With nine points, Isabelle Harrison is just three points away from reaching the 1,000 point club at Tennessee. She grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.
SENIOR WINS
- The three seniors had a combined 23 points in the second half after being scoreless in the first half.
- The win over Georgia marks their 100th win as a trio. Their record is 100-26.
- This group of seniors is now 5-0 vs. Georgia.
NEARLY PERFECT FROM THE LINE
- After a 19-for-21 showing vs. LSU from the free throw line, the Lady Vols followed it up with a near-perfect 20-for-21 against #22/19 Georgia.
- The .952 free throw shooting percentage ties the seventh best in program history.
- The Lady Vols converted their first 20 freebies of the contest, matching the program's best mark since going a perfect 20-for-20 against LSU in 1988.
DEFENSE WINS THE GAME
- Tennessee has limited SEC opponents to to just just 58 points in six games this season and limited #22/19 Georgia to 51.
- The Lady Vols' defense forced two shot clock violations in the second half.
- Tennessee outbounded Georgia 45-29 with 32 of those coming defensively.
AT THE HALF
- The Lady Vols led the Lady Bulldogs, 30-25.
- Tennessee shot 37.5 percent (9-24) and Georgia shot 35.7 percent (10-28).
- The freshmen were leading the way with a combined 15 points.
- Jordan Reynolds led UT scorers with 11 points, tying her career-high. Her last two points of the half came as the horn sounded for halftime.
- The Lady Vols and Lady Bulldogs benches were tied contributing 15 points apiece and each team had 12 points in the paint.
