POSTGAME NOTES
THE SERIES
- This marked the 50th time the teams have met.
- Tennessee has won 41 games in a row over Bama.
- The Lady Vols are now 48-2 vs. the Crimson Tide in the all-time series, including 21-0 in Knoxville.
- UT has lifted it's home record to 19-0 in Thompson-Boling Arena dating back to last year's contest with Auburn.
- Tennessee has won eight games in a row since losing to Notre Dame on Jan. 19.
- UT has won 20 straight games vs. SEC opponents.
- With the win, UT has played a full year without a loss to an SEC opponent. Officially, it has been 364 days since UT's last loss to a conference foe.
- The 21-point margin win is the largest since defeating Texas A&M by 23.
FOR STARTERS
- Today's starters: Jaime Nared, Cierra Burdick, Nia Moore, Andraya Carter, Ariel Massengale.
- This is the 10th different lineup for the Lady Vols.
- Not one single Lady Vol has started every game this season.
- This marked Moore's ninth game starting and first since Dec. 7. It was Nared's third game starting this season and first since Nov. 21.
- This also marked Massengale's third start.
- With this group, Tennessee is 1-0.
- The jump ball was controlled by Alabama.
- The first points were scored by Nia Moore with a lay-up.
- This was the first game since Isabelle Harrison tore her ACL vs. Kentucky on Feb. 15.
OFF THE BENCH
- Jordan Reynolds was the first Lady Vol to enter off the bench, in for Andraya Carter.
- Alexa Middleton and Bashaara Graves were next in for UT. They came in to relieve Nia Moore and Jaime Nared.
- Kortney Dunbar entered the game with 3:21 left in the first half.
FREE THROW SUCCESS
- In making 18-18 FTs, Lady Vols set a school record for most made FTs made without a miss in a game in history.
- Tennessee ties SEC record making 100-percent free throws. UT tied for third in SEC history for most free throws made without a miss.
- Alexa Middleton led the way going 5-for-5 from the charity stripe.
OFFENSIVELY SPEAKING
- In 26 games, Tennessee has made 27 runs of 10-0 or longer this season. The first one came in the first half with the Lady Vols going 10-0. They also went on an 11-0 run over 2:18 during the second half.
- Tennessee earned its seventh wire-to-wire win of the season.
- Tennessee had 20 assists on 26 made shots. The 20 assists are the most since dishing out the same number vs. Lipscomb and the eighth time that the team has dished out 20 or more this season.
- All nine UT players scored at least two points and grabbed at least one rebound.
- Three Lady Vols scored in double digits: Ariel Massengale, Bashaara Graves and Cierra Burdick.
- Bashaara Graves earned her fifth double digit score in six games. She totaled 14 points, three rebounds and an assist.
- Jaime Nared dished out a career-high five assists to go along with four points and three rebounds.
- Ariel Massengale was 5-for-11 from beyond the arc and tallied the most treys she has hit since making six vs. Winthrop. She tied her personal SEC-high in three-point shots made. She led the game with 17 points. Massengale now has 34 points in her last two games after scoring 33 total in the prior six games.
- Nia Moore scored her most points (6) since tallying nine points vs. Texas A&M. Moore blocked a career-high six shots while tallying seven rebounds and two steals.
DEFENSE AT A HIGH
- The Lady Vols held Bama scoreless for the first 4:02 of the game. They went on to prevent Bama from scoring for an additional 4:23 during the first half.
- Nia Moore blocked a career-high six shots against Bama. Her previous high was four, which she earned this season vs. Oral Roberts.
- In the 13 SEC games played this season, Tennessee has allowed only nine teams to score more than 60 points in a game.
- Tennessee forced 19 turnovers, the most since forcing 21 at Florida.
CRIMSON CONNECTIONS
- Tennessee junior forward Jasmine Jones is the daughter of former Alabama standout Latrish Jones.
- The younger Jones said her mom doesn't have a problem cheering for her daughter but doesn't wear orange on game days.
- UT Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Dave Hart is a 1971 Bama graduate and played basketball for the Crimson Tide.
AT THE HALF
- The Lady Vols were tied up 31-31 at the half. It is the first time this season that UT has been tied at the half.
- Tennessee shot 37.9 percent (11-29) vs. Kentucky's 35.5 percent (11-31).
- The Lady Vols had a had a 14-6 points in the paint advantage over UK.
- UT outrebounded UK 23-17.
- At the half, Isabelle Harrison had six points and a game-high six rebounds. Massengale led the game with three assists.
AT THE HALF
- The Lady Vols led the Crimson Tide 33-22. They had 10 assists on 13 shots.
- Tennessee shot 41.9 percent (13-31) compared to Alabama's 27.3 percent (9-33).
- The Lady Vols forced nine turnovers and earned 12 points from those. Cierra Burdick had stolen the ball three times.
- UA outrebounded UT 22-20.
- At the half, Ariel Massengale led all scorers with 12 points, including four treys.

- The Lady Vols will begin a two-game road trip against two ranked teams starting with #2/2 South Carolina on Monday, Feb. 23 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
