LADY VOL HOOPS AT #SECTIPOFF17

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Lady Vol head coach Holly Warlick and juniors Diamond DeShields and Mercedes Russell represented the program Thursday afternoon at #SECTipoff17 at Bridgestone Arena.
The trio departed by plane for Music City at 11 a.m. ET and spent two hours doing media interviews, answering rapid-fire questions, participating in social media interactions, shooting promotional spots and posing for photos.
Warlick also went live on the SEC Network set from 2-2:15 p.m. ET, visiting with host Maria Taylor and analysts and former SEC coaches Nell Fortner and Andy Landers. The group landed back in Knoxville just before 4:30 p.m. ET.
The Lady Vols play their lone exhibition game on Nov. 7, as Carson-Newman comes to town for a 7 p.m. contest. The regular season opener is at 7 p.m. on Nov. 11 at James Madison, while the home opener is slated for 2 p.m. on Nov. 13, as Navy faces Tennessee at Thompson-Boling Arena.
