Women's Basketball
RUSSELL, DESHIELDS NAMED TO NAISMITH TROPHY WATCH LIST -- Tennessee's Mercedes Russell and Diamond DeShields are among 50 student-athletes named to the 2017 Naismith Trophy Women's College Player of the Year Preseason Watch List.
Men's Basketball
5 QUICK THINGS: NOV. 29 -- With the Maui Invitational now in the rearview, the Vols are back on Rocky Top and preparing to face Georgia Tech on Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena (1 p.m. ET, SEC Network +).
Football
LEWIS NAMED TO SEC COMMUNITY SERVICE TEAM -- Tennessee redshirt senior defensive lineman LaTroy Lewis has been named to the SEC Community Service Team for the sport of football, as announced by the Southeastern Conference on Wednesday.
Volleyball
COCO NAMED TO SEC COMMUNITY SERVICE TEAM -- Tennessee junior Claudia Coco was named to the SEC Volleyball Community Service Team, the conference office announced Wednesday.
Women's Tennis
SCHAUB NAMED WOMEN'S TENNIS ASSISTANT COACH -- Tennessee women's tennis head coach Alison Ojeda on Wednesday announced that Ty Schaub has joined the program as assistant coach.
Soccer
WILKINSON, O'KEEFE & NEAL EARN NSCAA ALL-REGION HONORS -- Three Tennessee soccer players have earned NSCAA All-South Region honors for the 2016 season as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America on Thursday. UT's three selections are its most since also have three players earn all-region honors in 2007.
