Women's Tennis Earns NCAA Recognition
- As one of five UT programs selected, the Tennessee women's tennis team received public recognition for the NCAA's Academic Performance Program for the eighth-consecutive year in a row.
- The Vols posted a perfect APR score of 1000 during the 2015-16 academic year. The honor is given to teams that posted multi-year APRs in the top 10 percent of all teams in their respective sports. The APR provides a look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete on scholarship. APR measures eligibility, graduation and retention each semester or quarter and provides a clear picture of the academic performance for each team in each sport.
- Tennessee’s five programs recognized is the most for the school over the last 10 years, with the previous high being four in 2012-13. The Volunteers were tied for the second most programs selected in the SEC, behind South Carolina’s six.
