Creath Advances at ITA Ohio Valley Regional

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Freshman Callie Creath highlighted day one of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional on Thursday for the Tennessee women's tennis team.
Creath, a freshman from Austin, Texas, defeated Northern Kentucky's Margita Sunjic in three sets (6-3, 4-6, 6-2). The freshman improves to 3-1 on the year.
Sophomore Kylie Duckworth fell in three sets (5-7, 6-2, 1-6) to Kseniya Zonova of Southeast Missouri.
In doubles play, the pair of Rebeka Mertena and Julie Ball fell 8-2 Schmidt/Morris of Austin Peay. Ariadna Riley & Creath fell 8-4 to Myers/Lysova of Maimi of Ohio.
The Vols will continue play in Murfreesboro on Friday at 10 a.m. ET.
