STRONG START TO CONFERENCE PLAY
The Vols are on a strong 4-0 streak to open SEC action, which ties the program's best start to conference play since 2021. That year, the Vols won their first four contests before dropping a decision to South Carolina and ultimately notching an impressive 10-2 record to finish second in the SEC. A win over Texas A&M on March 15 would push the Vols to an impressive 5-0 record to start SEC action. That hasn't occurred since the 2011 dual season.
SHUN AND Z AT NO. 2
Mitsui and Pieczonka registered their 15th doubles win as a pair with their 6-2 victory over UF's 39th-ranked Adhithya Ganesan and Tanapatt Nirundon. The duo has clinched six doubles points for the Vols this season. Additionally, Tennessee is now 10-1 when those two win in doubles action.
YOUNES AND APPLE'S IMPACT
Younes Lalami and Filip Apltauer, who play primarily at the No. 3 doubles spot for UT, register an 8-3 record as a pair. They are currently on a four-match winning streak through the meeting with Florida. Additionally, UT is 8-0 when the duo wins in doubles competition.
QUICK HITTERS
● Tennessee holds a 36-8 (.818) collective record in doubles this spring, including a 12-2 record at the No. 1 spot.
● Johannus Monday has defeated ten ranked opponents in 2023-24, six residing in the top 50.
● UT has won the doubles point in 17 of its 18 matches this season.
MILESTONE TRACKER

● Johannus Monday needs five more singles wins to eclipse 100 career victories.
