Fawbush, Redouane Secure Top-5 Program Marks At Wake Forest, Bryan Clay Invites

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – A pair of distance running standouts posted top-five marks in school history on Thursday as Tennessee track & field opened a loaded weekend of competition at the Wake Forest Invitational and Bryan Clay Invitational.
At Wake Forest, sophomore Tula Fawbush notched a 14-second PR in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:10.18. The Louisville, Kentucky, native finished seventh at the meet and moved up to No. 2 in Lady Vol history as well as No. 22 on the 2026 NCAA Division I national list.
Zouhair Redouane ran his first 10k as a Vol during the early hours of Friday morning on the West Coast, finishing 14th in the invite section at the Bryan Clay Invitational with a time of 28:27.95. The mark improved his personal best by more than 90 seconds while ranking third in program history and 12th on the 2026 NCAA East Region qualifying list.
Additionally, Vol junior Carter Knox ran the 800-meter invite at Wake Forest – finishing fourth in his heat with a time of 1:49.44.
UP NEXT: Tennessee will compete across three meets on Friday: the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, and the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational in Gainesville, Florida.
